Volunteering

We Need You!

Community-based volunteers are the backbone of any non-profit organization.  Volunteers are always needed to help with various lake activities.  The types of volunteer opportunities are endless.  Some specific examples include:

• Assist with organizing social events, i.e. Wine & Cheese Party, “End of Season” Dinner Dance, Corn Roast, etc.
• Identifying and reporting invasive species
• Identifying and reporting endangered species
• Monitoring and reporting of bird life around the lake; specifically loons, osprey and bald eagles
• Assist with the placing (Spring) and retrieving (Fall) of shoal markers
• Firefighting
• Organize or assist with Boat safety initiatives
